National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation:
Supporting Restaurant and Foodservice Education
through Scholarships
The National Restaurant Association Educational
Foundation (NRAEF) is committed to helping the industry recruit and retain
a driven, well-educated workforce. To meet this goal, the NRAEF has
developed its Scholarships and Mentoring Program, which provides senior
high school students, undergraduate students, and educators with
scholarships to help further their education and enhance their careers in
the restaurant and foodservice industry. Over the last six years, the
NRAEF’s Scholarships and Mentoring Program has awarded more than $5.5
million in scholarships to students and educators.
-
Each high school and
undergraduate student scholarship award is $2,000. Deadlines for entry
vary by category.
-
The educator scholarship
award is $1,500. Deadline for entry varies annually.
-
All awards are available to
U.S. citizens and/or permanent resident aliens attending school in the
U.S. and U.S. territories (American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico and U.S.
Virgin Islands).
The NRAEF works with industry leaders and other
restaurant and foodservice professionals to judge and select award
recipients.
