A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Our Forum!

To encourage dialogue on Weekly Restaurant Connections, we have often contemplated setting up a forum for readers to express their points of view on our features. With our slogan--"We tell it as it is, without fear or favor!"-comes only our distinct perspectives and opinions. We're certainly by no means the sole authority on issues and we frankly enjoy hearing contrasting points of view. So now we're moving forward.

Rather than create a forum solely on this site, we decided to outsource to Foodservice.com, and allow an impartial party to choose which article to feature in the forum each week. David Smania, founder of Foodservice.com, agreed to take on this role in exchange for his users also being invited to the forum. That creates critical mass and more opinions.
