Profit & Loss Spreadsheet: Build Your Own Pro Forma

Just as you really can’t be successful without standardized recipes, how could you possibly have a successful business without a Business Plan? One critical element is the Projected Profit & Loss Statement, in which you project your income from revenue. Lisa Marcotte of Houston developed this Excel Spreadsheet based upon her revenue projections and costs from a project in a food and beverage class. While your individual restaurant or business may have a few small differences, this template will give you a great base line. We suggest you use it to develop three scenarios: best case; most likely; worse case. Which one will potential investors judge as the most important? Worse Case!
