Capstone Capers

At The Art Institute of Houston, School of Culinary Arts, our students celebrate the completion of their studies in our Capstone Class. Here students demonstrate the synthesis of numerous ideas learned in culinary and business classes by essentially building their first business plan. While rarely do first efforts such as these not require fine-tuning before being presented to potential investors, in many cases they form a great base line from which to launch a final, more comprehensive Business Plan. Several of our grads have agreed to share their Capstones to provide insights to students who follow in their foot steps, or to others who are simply interested in learning the fundamentals of planning. Such giving back is a true hallmark of hospitality. Thanks to all for sharing their personal achievements.
